As a baseline, find out how much a blemished 2011/12 goes for as a working average. I would look at how much a complete 2011/12 (and a genuine charger if you’re buying it on eBay) costs compared to putting a 2010 motherboard in your 2009, since you'll be in the same position when the C2D gets dropped in a lot of applications, you can’t easily find a SATA II compatible SSD or Sierra support starts fading away. The 2010 is *better*, but isn’t much better then the 2009. ![]()
