![]() ![]() With blurry eyes, I moped through the maze and thought about death.īut somehow… some way… I reached what looked like a clearing… a center? ![]() I twisted and turned in the incomprehensible maze of stone, hitting dead end after dead end until I was so disoriented all I could do was cry and stumble around. There was a primal instinct within me telling me to run. I look forward: walls, stone walls as far as one could see, surrounding me. Huge walls of stone jutted up beneath me in perpendicular patterns that created a sensation within me so dizzying I passed out. ![]() Eventually I stumbled upon a huge layer of glass on the surface of the earth. There was no fear I felt at that moment, just suspense. I began wandering with no specific direction to get a feel for this new place. ![]() I laid my jacket on the ground, but I kept my beanie on to hide my imperfection. How could any place on Earth be this flat and barren? The winter coat and beanie I was wearing became impractical in this mild temperature. Where on Earth was I? This is definitely not Alaska… the air smells different and there are no mountains. ![]()
